    • Charging time:
      Our units are fast charging, for example: it takes 5 hours to fully recharge the 1000W model however, with dual charging with a USB-C adaptor, this can be reduced (nearly halved) to 3 hours. This is a fantastic benefit when we’re in the higher stages of loadshedding.
      Please note that our units are not UPS’s.
      Following on from this don’t leave your unit charging excessively, this will have a negative impact on your charging cycles. Charge only when the unit’s battery supply is low, not ¼ down.
      Also make sure units are unplugged when loadshedding is due to end. You don’t want them at risk of power surge damage.
      So to make sure you do not use up your charging cycles too soon, don’t leave it on charge!

    HOW WILL MY ITEMS ARRIVE

    If you have ordered multiple items, these may arrive in separate deliveries with separate tracking emails

    Upon delivery, you will be asked to sign a delivery form or give a OTP Pin send to the cellphone number given on order, in which you confirm that the product(s) was delivered on that waybill.

    Lighting.co.za has multiple warehouses we ship from and sometimes we need to dispatch your order from a few different locations. * At the time of order some items might be out of stock - if so the Lighting.co.za Team will contact you to recommend a similar item that is in stock or we will credit your account or make a full refund payment. Refund payments can take up to 10 days.

    WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER

    Lighting.co.za uses an economy door to door courier service to ensure fast and direct delivery
    anywhere in South Africa. Our courier service offers delivery from Monday - Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm. Our Courier partners aim to deliver from date of
    dispatch to central areas in South Africa within 2-10 business days or to outlying areas within South Africa within 5-12 business days.

    You will receive a tracking email with a tracking link as soon as your items have been booked with the couriers. Please check your Spam Folder as some emails might land there.

    SHIPPING DETAILS

    Please ensure you have the correct Shipping/Delivery Address & Street Postal Code when placing your order. We do not take any responsibility for incorrect shipping/delivery addresses.  We do not deliver to a PO Box Postal Code or Address.

    DAMAGE IN DELIVERY

    Any visible damages must be reported within 48 Hours of signed waybill. Lighting.co.za will not accept responsibility for any damages not reported within this time frame. 

    Please make sure you or the person accepting the order on your behalf opens the package and inspect its contents for breakages or damage.

    INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

    For International delivery please contact us directly and we will create an order for you offline.

    OUR POLICY IN SHORT

    Our policy lasts 7 calendar days. Should you wish to exchange or obtain a refund for your purchased product within 7 calendar days, we will happily credit you for the cost of the product (excluding cost of shipping both ways). NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS ACCEPTED ON MADE TO ORDER, CUSTOM MADE ITEMS, BULK ORDER ITEMS, BULBS OR ITEMS THAT WERE INSTALLED. We do not accept ANY returns or exchanges after 7 calender days and the matter will by considered as closed. 

    Only use CLEAR TAPE when closing the boxes. No masking, brown or courier adhesive tape will be allowed.

    DAMAGE IN DELIVERY

    STEPS TO TAKE

    Prior to returning your product, please send an email to hello@lighting.co.za. Our customer care team will provide you with all relevant guidelines to proceed with the return (e.g. delivery process). 

    The following terms must be met: Fitting to be unused, uninstalled and in original condition as delivered with all the accessories and fitting to be returned in original packaging incl all the wappers. Only use CLEAR TAPE when closing the boxes. No masking, brown or courier adhesive tape will be allowed.

    WHAT CANNOT BE RETURNED

    We do not accept returns on any light bulbs.

    We do not accept items that was previously installed.

    Items that was bought on sale or with a discount coupon upon checkout incl but not limited to Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.

    Made to Order Items (MTO); custom made/cut; specifically modified for you Items

    Items made from natural materials such as wood or concrete - There may be some visual imperfections in the wood — this is characteristic of the design and should not be considered a flaw.

    Gift Cards

    Items damaged through normal wear and tear.

    Items damaged due to Load Shedding or sudden unplanned power outages.

    Items not installed by a qualified tradesman or electrician.

    Modifications – where the product was amended, adjusted or tampered with in such a way that it is deemed as modified from the condition that it was originally supplied to you.

    Once the items have been moved/transported from the original delivery address - no return or exchanges will be accepted

    Any shipping fees associated with the order

    Change of mind - you have 7 calender days to see if item is fit for use - if not you can return but shipping both ways will be deducted from the item price - accept for warranty purposes*.

    While the greatest care has been taken to ensure the colours shown are as close to the real thing as possible, colours may be influenced by your computer settings.  Accordingly actual true colours and product size may vary slightly from the colours or product image portrayed online.

    CARE INSTRUCTIONS

    For all lighting products simply wipe down with a damp cloth (microfiber if possible) and only water, do not use any abrasive cleaning detergents. Under no circumstances must self-adhesive tape price tickets be attached to a lighting article. The chemical in the self-adhesive could damage the fitting.

    For all Decor Items wipe with a dry, clean cloth for general maintenance. Wipe with a clean cloth dampened with a mixture of water and a mild dishwashing detergent if thorough cleaning is necessary — do not use abrasive brushes as this will cause scratching. Only clean as necessary
